Traditional pub food, cooked here, by people who are in the building. Many of our ingredients come from local suppliers.

There is a specials board at the bar as well — please ask a member of staff what is on today.

The kitchen is closed on Mondays.

Beer & the bar

Five cask hand pumps, and guest beers that change every week.

It is the bit we are proudest of. We do not pick a permanent house ale and leave it there — the line-up turns over, so there is usually something on that you have not had before, and something the regulars are arguing about.

What is pouring today is on the board above the bar. If you are not sure, ask for a taster. That is what the small glasses are for, and nobody has ever been judged for using one.

Wine & spirits

Wines, spirits and the rest of the bar are listed at the bar itself rather than here. We would rather you got an accurate answer from someone who poured it this week than a web page nobody remembered to update.

Tell the team what you usually drink and they will point you at something. It is a low-risk conversation.
